You’ll become a key member of a professional team that builds an automotive product with multiple technologies, including advanced sensing, opto-mechanics, electronics, vision and autonomous features.
In this position you will…
- Review customer requirements and negotiate agreements for technical system requirements
- Identify, develop, and review the technical system, hardware and software requirements
- Define a system architecture consistent with the technical requirements
- Initiate and integrate multi-disciplinary features with other teams such as hardware, firmware, optics, mechanics, VLSI, algorithms etc.
- System validation, qualification and certification
- Monitor in-vehicle operations
- Lead cross-company R&D efforts
- Lead system level experiments and prototype tests
Job requirements:
- BSc in EE or CS from a known university
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electronics industry. Experience in automotive – advantage
- System hardware and software knowledge through work experience
- Requirements writing proficiency through work experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A natural problem solver with an analytical mindset and creative approach
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Experience in multidisciplinary systems engineering – advantage
- Strong technical understanding in imaging – advantage
- Expertise in architecture modeling (Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, other) and requirements management tools (Polarion, DOORS, other) – advantage
